Brigham Paul

This is our Brigham.

He is ALL boy. He loves to run, jump, climb, spin, and kick. He loves to pick on his sister.

If they're off playing and Bailee starts crying it is safe to assume that Brigham is guilty. Unlike his sister though, who does everything on purpose and to tease, he just gets carried away in his play. When I tell him he hurt Bailee he gets a look of remorse and goes to give her kisses. He has a VERY big heart.

He loves food. Any kind of food but noodles that is. He will eat them but not very much. He's a meat head, any kind and any where, that is what he wants. But he also likes the sunkist brand of fruit snacks, pretzels, gogurts, and cheese. But not cheese heads, he will spit those out. Nugget.

He has a lot of words. It seems like he says more every day. Here are a few that I can think of right now.
Up-uh - for getting rolled up in a blanket, or being picked up
Cheese - for any food in general, except for cheese because she doesn't like it
Nok - for fruit snacks
NO - Usually for when Bailee has stollen a toy from him
Dub-dub-dub - For washing his hands or brushing his teeth
Don't!
Sisseeee or Baybayyy- for refering to his sister.
Baybay is also what he says for when he wants his blanket.
Hi and Buh bye
Juice, hot and book
Cookie - for a graham cracker or vanilla wafer
Cah - for a treat out of the Cah-ndy jar
He also signs a few words like more, drink, airplane, please, thank you, and bird. He blows kisses and knows the animal sounds for cat, dog, fish (blip), chicken and bird.
He blows kisses to say sorry so that he can get out of time out.
Pa - is used in refference to all of the grandparents. He doesnt say a word for grandma or grammy yet. Nugget.
Dis or Dees - for whatever he wants that he is pointing to
Moo-bee - for music
Ear go (here ya go) - for trading a toy with his sister whether she wants to or not, and for giving things in general.

His choice of drink on most days is "watee..." He will pick it over orange or apple juice and milk.

He carries this water mug off to some corner in the house, usually his bedroom closet, and just sits there and sips on it until Bailee comes to steal it from him. The only thing he likes more than water is gatorade, but we try to reserve that for when he is sick.

He also loves match box cars, motor bikes and airplanes. We live near the airport in Rigby and he gets so excited to hear and see the airplanes flying over the house. He will come and find me where ever I am and point to his forehead, his rendition of the sign for airplane. And thanks to his Grandma B...

...he got to go see the airplanes at Queen Bee Airspace in Rigby. He even got to go inside and try out the controls. He was in heaven.

He loves to "rub dub dub dub" his hands and his teeth and to play dress up, especially if it includes his sisters clothes. They are always better.

He loves music. He started dancing on his own, but I have tried to foster it the best I can. One day I'm sure he will realize that his mom is an AWFULL dancer. : ) He begs for the radio at home, for pandora, for the radio in the car and for Pandora on Pa's I-Pad in his office. He has the cutest little dance to go with the songs he really likes.

His all time favorite thing, though, is his Da-dee. From the moment Paul walks in the door from work to the moment he leaves for work in the morning this little boy is attached at the hip him. Sometimes I feel so left out and un-loved, but a lot of the time it is just nice to have a little break from the monster. : ) Even though Paul gets a little frustrated with the kids needing to be by their daddy all the time he is a good sport about it.

Here they are at Grandma B's sorting through the matchbox cars to find the "ones that were my favorite when I was little."

This little boy is quite the nugget. He has been making it very hard to baby-proof our house. It seems like he is always getting into something that he shouldnt be, but we love him so much. He adds a spirit to our home that couldn't be replaced by anyone else.
