Ousting Facebook

So I know, it has been a really(!!) loooong time since I was on here, almost a year in fact. It's not like we have been busy or anything... : ) But lately I have been hating that I spend so much time on Facebook and really want to be able to delete my account. It is a constant battle between "Just DELETE it Erin!" and "but how will my family and friends know what is going on?!" So... I thought if I could become a successful blogger then it would be safe to delete my Facebook. Anyway... Thats where we are. Here are a few pictures to catch you up on the year that we have missed.
This was chrsitmasish time. We started Occupational Therapy for both kids (and are still going, LAME...) to help improve their fine and gross motor skills. The brace on Bailee was to correct her torticollis - a big word to explain that her neck muscles were to tight (or her head was so big) so that she couldnt straighten it out.
Bath time was always a MUST at our house. My kids both had collic and acid reflux (Brigham still does but Bailee grew out of it) which meant they were either screaming or barfing, ALL THE TIME. And not just a little spit up, it was projectile barf that could make it across the room. No joke. So, if they didn't need soothed by the water, they needed cleaned off because they stunk so badly like throw up. :) Anyway, they have grown to love it, and the water in general. They love to be in lakes, pools and the tub.
Once again, notice Bailee's hair. : ) Anyway, they also love to be outside, preferably walking, but they will settle for their stroller.
This summer we went on a few camping trips. We decked the trailer out "baby style," and turned the table area into a crib since we eat outside anyway. It was WONDERFUL and they dont mind camping that much. We also did parks, the zoo a couple of times, Yellowstone, and we hiked to Hidden Falls on Jenny Lake in Teton National Park. I carried Brigham up, and my dad carried Bailee because Paul had to work.
Brigham LOVES to be around people, and Bailee gets overwhelmed by them. Paul always says that she gets that from me. I would disagree, but everyone knows its true. :) She will always sit on my lap for about ten minutes before she decides it might be safe to play. This is him at Grandma and Grandpa Blakely's. Yes he's playing in the dog dish and yes, he might have ate the dog food in his hand, but he was happy. That is all that matters... I hope. : )
And look at all that hair!! I LOVE IT!! I was definitely blessed to have a hair beautician for a sister-in-law because she will always cut their hair and when they were littler she tipped me off to shaving their heads so that their hair would grow in thicker. Bailees is so long too. This was her cheese face. Pretty stinking cute, right?! : )
The kids turned one, and as is customary in our families they got to devour a cake. This is how that turned out... Bailee was a disaster of course, always my messy one.
And brigham was as clean as he could be. He always has been a clean eater and holds his hands out to be washed as soon as we let him down from the high chair.
So this is where we are at four years of marriage and 14 months of twins later. And it has been CRAZY!! We are definitely more on our toes than we ever have been. They keep us running. : ) But the longer we've gone the more we've loved them.
Anyway, I dont know how well that sums up everything that we did in a whole year, but I'm too lazy to try harder. : ) Hopefully I can keep up with this so that I can keep off of Facebook. : )
